Ingredients

  • 1 kilo of seedless grapes
  • 1/2 a kilo of sugar
  • A small piece of Pelargonium Graveolens (aka Rose Geranium or Sweet Scented Geranium)
  • Juice from ½ a lemon

Method

For the grape preserve, first wash and drain the grapes well. Put them in a saucepan with the sugar and cook over a medium heat. Once they start to boil, lower the heat and remove the froth from the surface whenever necessary.

Allow the preserve to simmer until it thickens. Finally, add the lemon, and the Pelargonium then boil for 1  minute.

Footnote: Alternatively, you can make the preserve with black Attica grapes. It is amazing and it looks like sour cherry preserve.
